Makeup and beauty expert Peter Lamas, the founder of Peter Lamas Products, has launched a line of hair care products at Manhattan-based retailer Duane Reade, which is now owned by Walgreens.
The collection of natural hair care products is comprised of 15 products. The products have a revamped look and hit store shelves in April.
“We were looking for a platform to bring greater attention to the quality and aesthetic of our products, and Duane Reade presented the perfect opportunity,” stated Lamas, referring to the brand’s launch into each of the retail chain’s 256 doors throughout the New York City region.
Lamas has more than 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, defining the looks of Hollywood’s hottest stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor.
As Peter Lamas Products underwent a rebranding in 2009 with the repackaging of the entire collection, Duane Reade also began opening its remodeled stores with a new chic look, featuring an expanded prestige offering, eye-catching displays and a full-time staff of beauty advisors.
